Letter not found. The minutes record that at a meeting of the Royal Park Trustees held on 11 April 1862, the resolution given here was adopted. See also G. Sprigg to M, 17 April 1862 (in this edition as 62-04-17a).
[Resolved, that a letter be written by Dr Mueller to the Secretary of the Acclimat. Society, requesting of being favored with the views of the committee of the Acclim. Society in reference to the rules and regulations of the Park, in order that the Trustees may be guided thereby in the adoption of rules and regulations to be submitted to the Board of Land and Works, that further the Council of the Acclim. Society be requested to furnish with a plan of the Park showing the present state of improvements, and that further a return be prepared of the animals under the care of the Acclim. Society, such return to be renewed hereafter quarterly.]
