I have the honor to solicit, that you will be pleased to sanction the following expenditure in this establishment during the remaining months of the year 1861.

Wages, according to the ratio adopted in the preceeding quarters	£1107.15/—
that sum being the balance remaining available out of the united votes for Gardeners, Artisans and Keeper of zoolog Garden and labourers.
Purchase of plants and seeds	£30.- .-
Expense of publishing work on indigenous plants of Victoria	£30.- .-
Forage and food for animals	£20.- .-
Travelling and incidental expenses	£40.- .-
