Dear Dr. Ellery

The walk and lines of trees were kept so far south through the reserve as it could possibly be effected. If unsurmountable obstacles exist to locate the Observatory, as I lastly suggested, a little further northward, then people must contend themselfes to walk around such enclosure as you may put up around the observatory reserve.
