[We are informed by Dr. Mueller that in a letter received by him from the Zoological Society of London a great wish is expressed for a pair of Australian bustards, and from India and other tropical countries where snakes abound applications are constantly being made for our laughing jackasses. Dr. Mueller will be most happy to receive any of these animals now, and will take charge of them until an opportunity offers of sending them to their final homes.]
