Letter not found; item is a minute entry only, recording the reading of M's letter at a meeting of the St Kilda Council held on 19 June 1861. On the assumption that this letter is a reply to E. Bradshaw to M, 20 May 1860, M's letter is dated to 21 May as the earliest likely date that it was written.
[A letter was received from Dr Mueller, 'stating that he will be happy to supply the plants &c any morning at 9 o'cl. during May and that he will advise the Council in their proposed planting operations'.

In his Parliamentary return in 1867 (in this edition as 67-07-08a), M reports supplying plants, in lots of 1240 and 570, to the St. Kilda Municipality in June 1861.
