I have the honor to solicit, that you will be pleased to sanction the sum of £700.- .- (seven hundred pounds Sterl.) to be expended, in addition to the £500.- .- already granted for the month of April, in wages for the current quarter of the year.

I further beg to solicit, that you will be pleased to place at my disposal the undermentioned sums for defraying the respective contingent expenses to be incurred during this quarter of the year and such as may remain unliquidated from last quarter vize:

Purchase of plants and seeds	£37.	10/	-
Expense of publishing work on indigenous plants of Victoria	£80.	- .	-
Forage and food for animals	£40.	- .	-
