Dear Professor
This day at last my collections, relinquished in Gipps Land, arrived,
and I hasten to forward to you the few geological specimens, which in my last trip
to the alps I was able to secure. If I shall not take up too much of your valuable
time, I would be greatly delighted, if you would let me enjoy some information on
these specimens, to which no one could do better justice than yourself.

Probably from M's three-week expedition up the Macalister River, Vic, in March 1861.
Ever sincerely yours
Ferd. Mueller.
