Dear Sir
I have with much gratitude to acknowledge the receipt of your letter, dated 4 April, in which you intimate the decision of the trustees of the public Library, that the Hortus siccus Australiae should be transferred to the Government botanical Museum.
Whilst expressing my best thanks to the trustees for their kindness in acceding to my request, I beg in compliance with your communication to authorize the bearer to receive the collections.
