Sir, — At a meeting of the gentlemen forming the committee of the Zoological Gardens, held this day, T. J. Sumner, Esq., in the chair, I was instructed to solicit the insertion in your paper of the following valuable report on our llamas,

a request which I feel convinced you will, with your usual desire to promote the public interest, readily accede to, especially as this document emanates from an unrivalled judge of these promising animals, and by one who has shown such a disinterested desire to aid us in the improvement of our llamas by contributing, under the sanction of the New South Wales Government, recently, two additional genuine alpacas to the Victorian llama flock.
