By desire of the Gentlemen constituting the Committee of the Zoological Garden, I
have the honor to solicit, that you will be pleased to sanction the appropriation
of one hundred and fifty pounds Sterling out of the vote for purchase of animals for
the introduction of Chinese sheep, and that you will be pleased, should the Committees
proposal meet with your approval, to cause the above sum to be placed to the credit
of Mr Lyall, M.L.A., who has kindly undertaken the arrangements for importing these
useful animals.
