I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter, dated 3. inst.,
and beg to assure the Gentlemen Trustees of the Cemetery, that I feel highly gratified
with the sentiments expressed therein, altho' in giving my humble advise I was only
performing an official duty. It will aford me great pleasure, to aid by my attendance
at the cemetery the operation of planting, whenever the prearrangements for the purpose
are completed and you will kindly inform me, when my services are needed
