Dr F Mueller,
Botanical Gardens
Dear Sir,
We beg to thank you for your obliging promise of communicating the subject of our
letter, relating to the sale of the Camels, to the Exploration Committee.
We were informed, — and we think on reliable authority, — by the last mail, that of
the Camels to be shipped on Government account from Karrachee
none had been so shipped up to the 12th March. If so the vessel could not well get
away in time to escape being overtaken by the S. W. Monsoon, in which event her live
freight would have little chance of reaching their destination.

Again commending this matter to your serious consideration,
We are, Dear Sir,
yours obedtly
A. P. White & Co.
