I have the honor to inform you, that the communication in regard to the occupation
of the zoological Gardens by the Caledonian Society will be laid before the Committee,
& that there will be no hinderance to the erection of the stand at the time mentioned.

On 23 September 1859 Hodgkinson ordered that the secretary of the Caledonian Society,
J. Campbell, be informed accordingly.
