Melbourne, bot. & zool Garden,
25 March 59
Sir
In reply to your circular 51 L.C.B.
1
Letter Circular Book. Letter not found.
I have the honor to inform you, that I have distributed to each officer of this department one of the copies of order sent to this office, and had it read to the men employed at daily wages. Should this arrangement not be deemed sufficient then 40 additional copies will be required in order to furnish each employé with one.
I may finally state, that since I had the honor of entering the service of the Government I did not feel myself justified in taken either directly or indirectly part in any elections for Parliament.
I have the honor to be,
Sir,
your most obedient servant
Ferd. Mueller
The hon. the Chief Secretary.
