M’s presentation was noted at a meeting of the Society on 22 March 1859: ‘On examination it is found that 147 of them are already in the Society’s Gardens, and that 166 are either new to the Gardens or have failed to grow when introduced.’
[A large packet of seeds, comprising 313 species, was presented from Dr. Müeller, of the Botanic Gardens, Melbourne.]
