My dear Mr Gunn
Knowing that you are at all time ready to serve our favorite science, I take the liberty to solicit from you a specimen of , if you have such to spare, however small, as long as it contains at least one expanded flower for disection, as I am working on some new parasital orchid of this country and wished to compare , which I have never seen.
I enclose for the Launceston Industrial Exhibition a specimen of Angora-wool grown in the Colony, the animals being now in the possession of this department are thriving well. —
My report is now nearly printed & I shall feel much [pleasure]
