In reply to your letter of the 21st Instant
I have the honor to inform you that the Chief Secry approves of the closing of the
Botanic Gardens on Friday and Saturday of this week in order that a fee may be charged
for admission during the holding of the Horticultural Society's Autumnal Exhibition
