Being best able to perform, without neglecting other duties, just at this period of the year the botanical exploration of the sources of the Latrobe River, I pray your Honor will be pleased to permit me starting on this journey to day, by which arrangement I should be enabled to return at the end of this month, unless unforseen difficulties should be met with.
