To the Editor of the Argus.
Sir,—
Permit me to inform the public through your paper, that the Commander of the 40th Regiment, in compliance with the wishes of numerous ladies and gentlemen, has altered the hours formerly fixed for playing of the military band at this garden, and that we shall enjoy henceforth the music from four till six p.m. on every Wednesday throughout the summer.
Mr. Johnson, the bandmaster, has obligingly furnished the following programme for tomorrow, to which you will, perhaps, kindly give publicity.
