2
Bunce (1857), the final chapter of which is devoted to Leichhardt's second expedition of which Bunce was a member. See M to A. Gregory, 13 June 1857 (in this edition as 57-06-13a).

B58.05.03. M delivered a lecture 'An historical review of the explorations of Australia' at the monthly meeting of the Philosophical Institute of Victoria, 25 November 1857. After the lecture 'An animated discussion ensued', in which the Governor, H. Barkly, the President A. Clarke, W. Blandowski, M 'and others', took part. See Transactions of the Philosophical Institute of Victoria , vol. 2 (1858), p. xlviii.

yours most devotedly
