I am directed by the Lieutenant Governor to acknowledge the receipt of your most interesting Report of your journey to Omeo

His Excellency has also instructed me to convey to you his sanction to the two Mountains therein specially referred to being respectively designated "Mount Hotham" & Mount Latrobe in accordance with your request
