Letter not seen. The text given here is extracted from the image of Brief 25 in Tkach, Neubauer & Roser (2022), pp.145-6, W. Sonder to D. von Schlechtendal, 1 January 1855. Among other things, Sonder's letter discusses the progress of Plantae Muellerianae, especially a new consignment of mosses that he hopes Hampe and Carl Müller will again deal with; done in Hampe (1856).

Sonder also requested a catalogue from an antiquarian bookseller as 'ich soll für Dr. Müller verschiedene auf die Flora Australiens bezügliche Werke besorgen" [I am supposed to procure for Dr Mueller various works relating to the flora of Australia].

[Dr. Müller schrieb mir Ende Oktober, dass er im Begriffe sei, eine neue Reise in die Gebirge anzutreten.]
