In reply to your letter of the 19th ultimo
I do myself the honor to inform you that the sum of £100:0:0 is available and will
be at once placed at your service to cover the expense of your outfit

you to visit the Grampian Range, and country to the northward in the course of the
Spring but at the same time the L. G. leaves you to take your own choice of the District
wherein to prosecute your researches.
