The undersigned respectfully informs those gentlemen of this Province who take an interest in Botanical Researches, and who would feel glad to encourage the further development of that useful science, especially with regard to its hitherto little explored field in South Australia, that he intends writing a work on Natural History, with specimens of the different plants mostly indigenous to this colony. They will be classified systematically, and their respective seeds added. The series will contain several numbers of one hundred specimens each. As the collection will probably be a valuable acquisition to public institutions, or an agreeable object of private curiosity at home, and as the price is fixed at the lowest indemnifying rate, the undersigned hopes the South Australian public will encourage his further scientific enquiries into the riches of the Botany of our adopted country.
