If I rightly remember, dear Dr Bornet, I wrote to you, that a small glass vessel, containing partly algs and partly animal organisms of the lowest form, would be sent in a case, which I have ready for the Museum , to be shipped by the "Armand Behic" (Messageries maritimes) at the end of this month.
These specimens (not many) were dredged personally by Dr Verco, the leading medical Practitioner in Adelaide, who gave them to Miss Hussey, and she now informs me that I am to send this bottle of marine specimens in Alcohol to Prof Agardh.

See M to J. Agardh, 17 February 1896 (in this edition as 96-02-17b).
So I have no option in this respect. You will however soon get numerous other Algs from me.
Ever with regardful remembrance and grateful attachment your
Ferd von Mueller
