of Adelaide, uninfluenced by myself, has last week at its meeting passed the following resolution, moved by Prof Rennie, D.Sc., F.C.S., “that the Council of the R.S. of S.A. be directed, to make inquiries of the QL. Government, whether Mr Bailey is authorized by them, to write a continuation of the Flora Australiensis, and if the reply be in the affirmative, this Society strongly protests against the assumption of that title”.
