Herewith, dear Dr Bride, I send the just received supplemental volume of Saccardos
Sylloge Fungorum.
You know, that I
presented
the other volumes to the public Library. But as I am now reduced so very much (three-fourth)
in the working expenses of the Department, perhaps the trustees may be willing to
purchase
this
volume. Dulau & Co charge me £2 - for it. But if no fund is readily available, I
will present this also.
