I send you the four sheets, which are printed off, concerning Sir W MacGregor's plants; the fifth will conclude the essay, but it could not be got ready for this mail.

My general and long experience in working has always been, that large genera are the best with subgenera for practical purposes, and that applies to particularly. I hurried off the Ferns & the , to the specialists, as I have all through 1889 been so very busy with various heavy extra-duties.
