enclosing Mr Thiselton Dyers letter, which I will attend to at once. Some of the volumes he wants are out of print and cannot be furnished.

Thiselton-Dyer had evidently asked for volumes of the Transactions of the Royal Society of Victoria to complete the holdings at Kew.
I do not know how it is that the later ones are missing. I believe they have been forwarded. I think I had better perhaps write to Mr Dyer and explain that they have been sent addressed to Botanical Gardens Kew instead of to Royal Gardens, Kew. Perhaps they may be recoverable.
