Let me thank you, dear Mr Shillinglaw, for your circumspect kindness in sending me
the copy of Capt. Musgrave's diary.
I read it at the time in a periodical, but never had a book-copy myself; now that
the antarctic interests commence to be revived, I will read this book, so thoughtfully
edited by you, with care, before I send it off to Capt Armstrong. Are copies anywhere
purchasable?
I should like very much to have a short conversation with you, prior to your final
R. Comm. Report
is printed.
