to quote this letter, and to add that he had also 'a long letter from Baron von Mueller
giving sundry reasons why Part 2 had come out before Part 1'.

Sir,
In reply to the question asked by the Hon. Dr. Dobson in Parliament, I have the honor
to state, that Part II of the Key of Victorian plants
is ready since some time and obtainable at the Gov. Printing Office, and that part
one will be finis[h]ed in some months, if the Gov. Printing Office can publish soon
the manuscript after its completion.
