I have the honor to enclose for your information a copy of a Circular
received from the Treasury asking for the Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure of
this Department for the financial year 1886/7 and to request you will be good enough
to forward to this office, as soon as possible, the Estimates on account of the Government
Botanist (in triplicate) for the period specified, those of expenditure being prepared
in accordance with the Treasury direction.
