I take the liberty of writing to ask if you will be good enough to name the enclosed species of grasses, when named please return the numbers only —
No 1. Grows to five or more feet high is hard and Cane like, branching prolificly from the nodes.
No 2. Grows to three feet high near water, yields a fair amount of succulent herbage.
No 3. An annual succulent grass.
No 4. A grass that grows into large tussocks near swamps.
No 5. one of the spear grasses.
No 6. another spear grass.
