My dear Sir,

You have omitted to furnish a Memorandum of your expenses in connection with the very excellent lecture which you were kind enough to deliver at The School on the 13th instant.

M gave an evening lecture, 'General Observations on the Flora of Australia', on 13 September 1882 in the lecture room of the Ballarat School of Mines; the attendance was 350, equal to the highest attendances for other lectures in the series (Ballarat School of Mines. Annual report 1882 (1883), p. 27).

— Pray supply the omission and a cheque for the amount will be forwarded.—
