Hochgeehrter Freund!

The list of determinations follows on from this text.
Highly esteemed Friend!
Since I was absent from home for a long time, I have only now sent off my letter of thanks to the Linnean Society in Sydney, together with a couple of smaller papers.
3
Kalchbrenner was elected a Corresponding Member of the Linnean Society of New South Wales on 29 March 1882. The papers he sent them as thanks are presumably the two papers by him read at the Society's meetings on 29 November and 27 December 1882, that is Kalchbrenner (1882a) and Kalchbrenner (1882b).
My Icones selectae will follow somewhat later, because now the route via Suez seems not quite safe owing to the Egyptian turmoil.
