Hierbei die neuern Nummern der Fragmenta, welche Ihnen fehlen; ich könnte auch einige Bände dieses Werkes senden, doch die älteren sind nur noch selten zu haben, u dann nur antiquarisch.
Das Lepidium, welches Sie senden, ist eine extreme Form von L. ruderale. Gewiss werden Sie noch manches Schöne in diesen Frühling unter den ganz kleinen Pflanzen finden. Wenn Sie Kindern an entfernten Stationen eine kleine Ve[r]gütung versprächen, so würden solche für Sie sammeln, namentlich Pilze u Algen .
Hoffentlich kann bald der Druck des Textes für die 8. u 9. Decade des Euc. Atlas beginnen. Ich sende Ihnen mein letztes Privat-Ex von Woolls's Liste der Sydney-Pflanzen, da Sie es nicht in Ihrem Notiz angeben, wenn Sie die Liste bereits besitzen, so erbitte ich mir selbige zurück. Der Ihre

Ich arbeite nebenher an den seit 1864 angesammelten Acacien zusammenhängend, es ist eine weitläuftig u mühsame Arbeit. Nur Geduld, sonst wird es unbefriedigend ausfallen. Es scheinen nur Gallen die Discoloration an den Blätten von [

that which is known about the germination and the development of the fructification organs of other species must also be subjected to a detailed comparison.
Enclosed the newer numbers of the Fragmenta, which you lack; I could also send some volumes of this work, but the older are only rarely to be had and then only second-hand.
The Lepidum that you send is an extreme form of L. ruderale. Undoubtedly you will find still more beautiful things this Spring among the quite small plants. If you promise children at distant stations a small payment, they would collect for you, especially fungi and algae .
