Ich hoffe, lieber Herr Tepper, dass mein sehr schnelles Schreiben nicht etwa letzthin ein Wort einfliessen liess, den das Sie Anstoss nehmen könnten. Wenn solches geschah, so müssen Sie es der Flüchtigkeit meiner Gedanken einfach zuschreiben.

Ich emphele, den kleinen N. 878 weiter zu beobachten, damit wir gut gereifte Früchten für genaue Untersuchung der Art bekommen. Für Süd Australien scheint sie neu, mag aber mit einer von West Australien einerlei sein.

Eine etwaige Versetzung nach dem Süden würde Ihnen geologisch, entomologisch u auch botanisch ein neues Feld geben. Ihre erfolgreichen Anstrengungen machen Ihnen alle Ehre.

Beim Schluss der neuen Nummer der Fragmenta will ich versuchen Ihrem gerecht zu werden. Es ist ein verwirrtes Genus. Wegen der Euc. Blätter Destillation habe ich mich an Hr H Heuzenröder gewandt, weil er in Adelaide Musse hat, diese Sache anzuregen; so wie etwas Bestimmtes vorbereitet ist, will ich mich dankbar aufs Neue in dieser Sache an Sie wenden.

I recommend the small no. 878 for further observation, so that we get well-ripened seeds for precise investigation of the species. It seems new for South Australia, but may be the same as one from Western Australia.

A possible transfer to the south would give you a new field geologically, entomologically and also botanically. Your successful efforts reflect all honour on you.

At the conclusion of the new number of the Fragmenta I shall try to do justice to your .

It is a confusing genus. I have turned to Mr H. Heuzenröder concerning the distillation of the eucalypt leaves because he has leisure in Adelaide to work upon this matter. As soon as something certain is prepared, I shall gratefully turn to you anew in this matter.
