Ich möchte Sie befragen, lieber Herr Landsmann, ob Sie durch Ihre entomol. Studien mit dem Insekt (Cicada) bekannt geworden sind, welches die Blätter der Eucal. viminalis bohrt u dadurch oder vielleicht durch eigne Excretion die sogenannte (aber unächte) Manna producirt. "Lerp" ist nach seinem Ursprung wohl bekannt, nicht so diese bei Adelaide so häufige krümliche Manna.

Search for Eucalyptus viminalis in

and thereby, or perhaps by its own excretion, produces the so-called (but falsely) manna . "Lerp" is well known according to its origin, not so this so frequently crumbly manna near Adelaide.
