Sir,
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 5th instant
and accompanying volumes,
and to inform you that the Chief Secretary personally approves of your suggestion
that one or two copies of the "Introduction to Botanic teachings" and also (to be
placed in the school library) a copy of "Select Plants" be sent to each state school.
