I believe, that is hardier than E. globulus, as it attains to much higher elevations in the mountains. Lord Stair might try your alpine Tasmanian species.

so far as my material goes you have perhaps better S. African material than myself; I am not quite sure about the ovules of . is also near, as 4 or 2 glands occur also in & .
