Do not think, my good and dear Mr Bentham, that I am unmindful of you and your requirements,
because I passed a mail or two without writing. While you are yet amidst the "genera"
there was no necessity to disturb you, besides the forest- & industrial affairs of
the Country have absorbed my spare moments for some months past.
Whenever I learn from you, I will send supplemental material,
