I am not quite certain, dear Dr Story, whether I acknowledged your kind sending of Glumaceae. The amount of writing in my Department is so enormous, that my friends must be charitable, if shortcomings occur.
The "Bentgrass" is Imperata arundinacea (Cyrillo). It is accidentally omitted in Dr Hookers Flora Tasmanica, it being recorded already in R Browns prodromus

I was glad to learn, that so much attention had been shown to the Mess. Gulliver in your district.
Let me hope, my revered friend, that your health is as firm as your spirit is bright and happy. That is the wish of your attached friend

The following list, which except for the insertions noted is not in M's hand, is filed in the same collection separately from the letter and may not have been enclosed with it, but it is evidently closely related as it matches Story's annotation on the letter — a list headed 'Plants fm Dr Mueller 8/71' — with minor differences. Story has added the comment 'planted on Sugar loaf Kelvn' [i.e. Kelvedon, Tas, where Story lived] after the Cinchona entry and spelled out Pinus.
