I have the honour by direction of the Borough Council of Warrnambool to beg that you will be good enough to supply them with some shrubs, particularly pines, for the use of the Botanical Gardens here.
If you could spare them also a small quantity of pine and other seeds the Council would esteem it a favour.
Should you be able to comply with the Council's request perhaps you will kindly inform me when they would be ready so that some person in Melbourne can be appointed to receive and ship them.
