I have just deposited to the Marseilles Railway two small packages care of M M Gower & Co.. One contains the specimen for your friend from Nachet et fils (I paid for 50 francs as per Bill) and some books from friend Baillon and another one (2) as the other the same with a curious addition from Cte Jaubert though useless & without interest for you I have directed the book; because he offered you. I have answered lately to the Count speaking severely about the manner of our Savants towards you. But I spoke with dignity for you as allways I have done by words or acts.
