The departure of the Anglesey having been postponed unexpectedly for a few days, dear
Dr Hooker, I have managed to get away yet a Wardian Case with growing plants, a midshipman
on board, to whom I made a donation of Australian seeds, having promised to take special
surveillance of the case.
Some of the plants may be duplicates for Kew, but as they are of a kind, which are
not readily propagated, I trust you will find them acceptable for interchanges.
Your very regardful
Ferd. von Mueller.
