Dear Prof Harvey
This proof is drawn off to day;

A plate captioned Sarcopetalum Harveyanum and numbered 'Supplemental Pl III' is filed with the letter. A modified version of the figure, with the same plate number, was published in B62.03.03, where the new genus was described on p. 26 and the species S. harveyanum on p. 27.
it is yet to be emended upon some details of the analysis. Only recently I obtained male flowers of it, which prove this plant to be a n.g. distinct from .

M had listed without description the name harveyanus in the 'Systematic index' in B54.10.01, p. 9. M's main label on the specimen with which the letter and plate are filed is ' Harveyanus, | Ferd Mueller | Brodribb River | Victoria.' A packet of seeds is labelled ' Harveyanus FM | Snowy Rivr. Gippsland | F. Mueller'.
It occurs also at Parramatta. I do not know whether Miers had it, if so he named it only.
Yours truly,
Ferd Mueller.
