It occurred to me in thought, dear Mr Bradshaw, that you might like me to give footnotes
on the pages of the print of your treatise in reference to such plants, as you specially
mention.
In that case, the slips, from which you were reading,
should not be paged, until the notes have been added. I could make Tuesday-afternoon
free for you, if you like then to come to my place, so that you could look with me
over your botanic specimens, to settle about what notes should be furnished for your
memoir.
1
M published an account of the plants collected by Bradshaw during his 1891 expedition
to the Kimberley region of WA in B92.05.04.
2
At a meeting of the Victorian Branch of the Royal Geographical Society, 10 September
1891 ('the royal geographical society',
Argus, 11 September 1891, p. 3).
3
Bradshaw could not have seen M at the time suggested, since the passenger list indicates
that he left Melbourne for Sydney on 12 September aboard
Cuzco, arriving on 15 September.
Regardfully your
Ferd. von Mueller
