Dear Sir,

Would you kindly inform me what the name of the enclosed plant is. A Mr Grattan, squatter in this neighbourhood is of opinion that it has poisoned 160 of his sheep. I send it to you in the same condition as he gave it to me, but if you require a more perfect specimen, I will obtain one for you.
