Sir,
I have the honor by direction of Mr. Kerferd to inform you that he desires to be furnished
with certain particulars in regard to all persons in the Public Service as included
in the Forms herewith, and I am to request that the returns be transmitted to this
office on or before Thursday next the 18th instant.
Classified, non-classified, scheduled, and supernumerary officers are to be in separate
lists. Additional forms can be obtained from the Government Printer.
