Typesetter's or editor’s misreading of Eucalyptus sideroxylon? Eucaliptos was a common spelling in Spanish.
[The Rural Society has also recently received a small amount of Eucalyptus sideroxylon
seed, from Australia, sent by Mr. Muller. Members who wish to test it can ask the
Secretary of the Rural Society.
